Farriers Guild
Overview
This is the traditional Farrier - a Farrier being NOT just a supplier of Horseshoes, but in actuality Horse Veterinarians. So this is not just a spin-off of the Blacksmiths Guild, but also linked to the Healers Guild. There are only a handful of dedicated Farriers in Atlantis, and they are uniquely positioned among the Royal Atlantean Armed Forces as providers of services to the Legions and the Cavalry Units. The gaining of a Farrier to one's service is a sign of excellence among Barons and Landed- Gentry. Each Cavalier who has a dedicated squire is most likely also seeking to gain a dedicated Farrier - the need for horseshoeing, veterinarian and general Horse-rearing services are rare in the land.
FARRIER SKILLS
A Farrier can shoe a horse, make horseshoes, and care for a horse that is unwell. This means that a Farrier gains Animal Handling (Horses) AND Healing (Horses) as a part of their Bonus skills from the start of the character. A Farrier will also allow the party to care for their horses in any conditions due to their Farrier Tool Box - which allows for the full care of the mounts.
