Overview
From: Apollonius Rhodius, Argonautica 3. 221 ff (trans. Rieu) (Greek epic C3rd B.C.) : [Hephaistos (Hephaestus)] created Indurated Steel for use in the making of a Tiller of soil for the Bronze Bulls , the Tauroi Khalkeoi. The Bulls themselves were forged from Indurated Bronze. This metal is NOT stronger than normal bronze but has other benefits. Damascussed Bronze would be another phrase for it.
Magical Effects
It is NON=MAGICAL and therefore simply an improved alloy of bronze.
Weight Effects
No change in weight from normal.
Armor Effects
Indurated Bronze Armor gives +1 to saves versus Fire and Electricity Effects. It's AC is normal otherwise.
Weapon Effects
Indurated Steel Weaponry does an additional +1 in damage (ONLY) to the base damage versus small, man sized and giant sized targets that are FIRE or ELECTRICITY based, such as Fire Elementals or Fire Giants, to reflect the sheer keenness of the weaponry against such targets.
Price Effect
Price of Indurated Steel Items is 50 times the normal price for the item.

Material Characteristics
Irudated Bronze can hold an edge and shape in the midst of fire and electricity much more easily than standard bronze.
Origin & Source
Hephaestus forged this metal as a method of creating the Bronze Bulls who breathed fire. Hephaestus needed to forge a metal capable of withstanding the forces put on them by the Bronze Bull.
