Overview

Lich Phylactery Creation
Phylactery Details https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/PhylacteryThe Lich Phylactery is constructed
Archlich Phylactery
An Archlich creates a practical magical item, unlike a lich's phylactery, as it functions as more than just as a repository for their souls, typically, and by tradition, it took the form of a small spell book. However it can be any practical item.Archlich Potion
The Archlich potion is similar to that of a lich - the ingredients must come from evil humanoids and each individual must have died 'peacefully' or by surprise. It must be drunk, while holding the created item, and be at least partially covered in the spellcaster's blood. The Lich Creation Spell (secret to almost all) must also be cast at this time. The spell has a 3% chance of killing the individual.
The spell puts the drinker of the potion into a deathlike slumber for 4D4 minutes. If the sleeper survives, they awaken as an Archlich.
Archlich Requirements
The prospective archlich must directly participate in the creation of the item to be used as the phylactery - however it's actual creation, and the brewing of the potion and spell casting can be performed by another. The subject must be willing to receive the spell for it to work.
Archlich Powers
Archliches can put mortals in a paralyzed state of hibernation with a touch, making them seem dead to others. An Archlich is capable of sustaining tremendous physical damage.
Immune to disease, poison, fatigue and other things that affect only the living.
