Marshall Guild
Overview
Marshalcy is the practice of horse care - and the Marshall is a highly specialised horse-master. They act as the investigating and prosecuting force for any crime or accident involving a horse. They are a combination of Farrier, Animal Trainer, Animal Doctor, Police Investigator, and Equestrian Master. The Marshall ensures that all horse related incidents are dealt with - whether it be the shoeing of a horse, the investigation of the death of a horse, or of a person who has been struck by a horse, this all falls under the domain of the Marshall. A Marshall manages the lives of all horsemen at some stage.Ordinances
Although a Marshall can and does shoe horses, or cares for horses that are sick:A Marshall must never undertake the work of a Smith - beyond the specialised making of Horseshoes and Loriner related metal objects.
A Marshall must never take a Smith trained individual as a trainee, or worker of any type. (To ensure the two professions never cross over)
A Marshall must never undertake the work of a leatherworker beyond that of the specialised Loriner gear needed for horses.
