Naming Traditions
Overview
Each culture has it's own naming tradition, and the traditions are noted under those cultures. However, some classes also have a naming tradition. The Knight
The Knight follows the naming tradition of the 1100s which largely dictates that they will take the name of the main city whose lord they served. It does not necessarily denote a member of the family of that lord. This is taken further in Atlantis to allow the Knight to take the name of the main city that they individually serve should the need arise. As a matter of the Code of Honor requiring Modesty or Humility, the Knight may willingly deflect fame or notoriety by changing part of their name to ensure that they are seen to be humble.
