Overview

The Obsidian Dag-Stern Blade is one of several new weaponry developments presented by the Glassblowers' Guild.

Description

The Dag-Stern Blade is a dagger shaped from pure obsidian and can be used as a dagger or thrown as a throwing star of stone. The weapon can be honed to a razor sharpness that goes into near magical sharpness (10 microns in sharpness). It does however have a chance of dulling and even shattering in combat.

Game Usage

The Dag-Stern Blade will do 1D6 DA to small and 1D8 to large opponents. It can be used in thrown (same as a dagger) format or hand to hand. As a non-metal weapon it is usable by Druids and Barbarians, and is immune to Rust Monster and Acid based damage - making it ideal for use against monsters who use such forms of attack.

Price Range:

20 GP if materials are provided to the Glassblower.  (Requires 10 kg of Obsidian to successfully fashion)

40 GP if materials are not provided
