Parnassian Mountain
Overview
This Mountain stands near the coast of the Principality of Gadiera. it lies East of the Coastline that harbors the Floating City of Cadiz.The Mountain is rumored to have always been a sacred site even during Titanic Times, and had at one point been dedicated to one of Artemis's Demi-Avatars - a Queen of power from a distant land famed for her knowledge of plants, and naval warfare.
On the night of the Elven Exodus in 69 CY, the fourth year of the fifth cycle, the Sphere of Sustarre carrying those Elves whom so desired to come to Terraia, was cast by Artemis through the Mountain itself - resulting in the Eye of the Moon Gap.
Site Protections
The Primary protections on the site include the blessings and management of Artemis and Apollo around the site, but the Mountain is also subject to a Preservation Teleport Law.
Geography
It has an elevation of 380 m (1,250 ft), while the hill is 230 m (750 ft) in relative height and 410 m (1,350 ft) in length. The arch is about 50 meters in height.
In actuality the entire Western Face of the Mountain was blown away by the impact from the sphere - with the gaping limestone remains of the mountain now forming the circular arch that is visible today.

Ecosystem
The Korma Orod Ecosystem has taken on a unique nature in the 500 years since the event. This has been partly been natural, but also partly encouraged by the Druids of Artemis. The entire area is blessed with plants from the Moon itself - being a mini-moon forest and it is rumored to also be the chosen area for Unicorns and some Pegasi in the area.
No evil being is said to be able to step through the arch - however this is only partly true - many have shown that those wishing harm to the Elves or to the forest itself - as opposed to simply hunters are likely to encounter an ever growing range of challenges from the flora, fauna and druids in the area.
Artemis herself is said to maintain a hunting ground here. Any may hunt - as long as they are respecting their prey and the forest itself.
A strong population of deer, hinds, boar (which are strongly hunted by followers of Aphrodite) and Wild Dogs are said to inhabit the area.

Localized Phenomena
The area experiences active Aeromantic Oracles issued by Apollo and some other Olympian Gods. This causes spectacular displays in the heavens around the Eye of the Moon Arch within the Paranassian Mountain.
