The Lost

Overview

The Lost is a reference to the Three Noble Elven Houses that have been lost to history.

Background

Artemis created twelve noble Elven family lines. Each line said to represent the twelve months of the year not expressly controlled by her. Other interpretations state that the 12 were to represent the four examples of a race created by the Kore- the Kore being the three goddesses of Hecate (Magic), Artemis (The Huntress) and Persephone (Spring and Death/Undeath).
This is said to explain the very different specialisations of the Elven Noble Families and their diverging approaches to life.
Overtime, three of the families extended their diverging talents even further - developing alliances that would ultimately cost them their very existance.

Summary of the Loss of the Three

The Killstars (Tinubith House) would go on to develop extensive alliances with Undead Lords that would result in both their greatest achievement, Lordship over most of the Planet at one point, and then their total demise.
The Dammraug (Demon Strikers) would be enslaved by the very demons and devils that they sought to control - now said to be slaves in hell to the greatest of Devil Lords.
The Sinith Estel being young and impetuous sought a similar fast track to power, only to lose themselves to the power of Demons.
The three lost families are remembered and it is hoped that should any heirs be found, they can return to their position among Elven Royalty.
