Election in Valonia Empire

Being elected isn't that easy. It needs popular supports and quite amount of wealth. The seat of the advisers are the only way to get close to the emperor. When there's the available seats, the election will hold. There are six main seats for each Royal Institutes. Each has only one or two years per term. Furthermore, each insititute also has different set of seats.

When the candidate are assigned, they keep legally to make sure they're clean.

Rally Phase

The rally can be formed in all the cities, usually for local sent like assistants for local Governor, but since many important seats like Advisers only available at Valone, many chose to rally there. The most popular place to promote is the Val Forum. Every afternoon, there's gonna be the group of parties to promote their speech.

Election Phase

When the 1st of arrives, the equal people are gather around in equal areas divided by wealth - based on census. When the clock strike midday, The people in each group begin to vote. Once the certain time reaches, the election is over. The group summary their results. If the highest point has reached the election is over.

The election can extend more than one day, until the majority reach the threshold.

The people who can vote are mostly adult male, no matter their past - meaning the ex-slave can also vote.

These seats is only for those in Valone. The other city can used the different voting system for each individual council, as long as it's approved by the government.

The most voted person will be brought to the Supervisor, the hereditary administrative advisor, performing the special ritual to all the stuffs in each institute. Once it is done the seat is secured. It's then announced the result through the newspaper.

Party

As it is for selecting individual to help ruling the empire, the seat can be assigned by the like-minded. Thus, the concept of political parties was born. This allows the total control of the chosen institute, if not, the all royal institutes.
