Mausoleum of Val
Mausoleum of Val is the tomb of the first king of Valonia, Val. The tomb is in the middle of the garden inside the Grand Palace of Valone.
History
The site of the mausoleum used to be the first building in the palace. It's built as simple as a regular house. He used it for both living and meeting with the senate. He even write the first code of Valone there according to royal historian.
It's left abandoned after the proper palace was built. However, it wasn't demolished while he was going here from time to time.
Before he died he told his family to bury in the same spot he used to work. The house was scrapped turning into burial site, with scrapped woods turned into a casket. It's believed that he was buried at what to be his favorite chair. After the ceremony, the stone mausoleum is built above the ground, preventing anyone to dig him up.
It has been renovated during the Sarton period. More polished stone is being decolated, integrating with surrounding garden and the bigger, stronger grand palace.
Though it wasn't not much to see, the later rulers sometime would go there from time to time, with various reason.
