Halfaeya
The revered mother, the goddess of matriarchy, matron of home and hearth, mother of safety, truth and home.
Halfaeya was alive during the 1st Age and was part of the Durûlin Clan of dwarves that lived in the city of Dorûnde. She never bore children, as she led a tireless life of service to her clan and her tribe. She was praised by many for her efforts in building and maintaining settlements, furnishing homes, preserving architecturally important pieces of art and other structures, and helping rebuild when invaders damaged buildings and other structures. She took great pride in keeping order and organization amongst the tribe, so much so that people would call her "mum" and "ma'am". Halfaeya lived a long and fruitful life, and is still celebrated and revered to this day by dwarves of all walks of life for her tireless efforts. Any reference by a dwarf to acting matronly, reverently or in a caretaking fashion is done in reference to Halfaeya.
