Make way into Republic City with adventuring party of Eladrin
Each of the Eladrin go their own way, save for Spritzy, who takes Carl to see street performers
Carl dives in to local fair cuisine when he sees a firbolg fall from a portal, similar to the one Carl fell from
Firbolg tries to blend in with street performers by cracking a whip and singing a song
First entranced, Carl realizes the song is flopping, and he jumps in to join the Firbolg in song
-Crowd cheers on the duet after it ends, egging them on to do a handful of songs together
The surprise duo wins adoration before closing their impromptu set and heading to tavern for a pint
Finally introduce each other; Firg is a middle aged Firbold who can't remember his name. He was simply working in the yard when he tripped and fell through a portal. Landed in an area with a creature who asked him what he would do to survive, said anything, and began to fall again, landing in Republic City
While trying to make sense of what's going on and how to return home, they receive bulletins of a planned execution of 4 kids the next day.
-Spritzy and Airan come find them, and the four begin to plot out a plan to save the kids as the crime of death was far too strong for their supposed crime of theft of an artifact
Execution is to be at 9am the next day, kids are being kept on entry level of the prison, surrounded by 10 guards
Accused of stealing an artifact
Carl and Firg plot out rescue mission for just before the execution
Oversleep, kids brought to stage, new plan hatched
Eladrins to attack spellcasters, Carl to be changed into a big Ape and attack melee guards
Kids are flanked by not only guards but mystical giant creatures and the King of the Fey
Firg summons his snowy owl familiar, Flutter, to scope out the scene
Carl runs up to stage, transofrming into a ginat ape from Firg's magic
Battle insues, with Carl and Eladrin taking out about 5-7 guards
Carl scoops up children and carries them to the woods outside the city
Joined by Firg and Eladrin in woods
Suddenly the King of the Fey is before the group, now in a wooden mask
As the group looks around, wooden masks are seen endlessly in the dark of the forest
