The Arcane is a ever present energy existing within our plane. Mystra, Goddess of Magic and Cosmic Balance faithful believe this energy was brought by their goddesses anchor on our world. From her, this energy pulsates outward. Through the use of somatic gestures, glyphs, verbal commands and material objects, individuals can manipulate the energy and manifest it into causing magical effects.
