Janessa Schonsaur

Janessa is the captain of the Brigandtine ship known as the Swift Valkaria. The ship used to be The Doge of Perfume Bay, Diero Marivald's personal craft, but put it under Janessa's command after winning the election of Doge.
Janessa used to be a prominant pirate and smuggler in her younger days; running the Varangian Cape. However, in the 1750's Diero hired her as a fulltime ship captian, and she has served in the Perfume Bay navy since.

Janessa meets the group in Vexlorn to tell them her ship can be used by the party to complete missions.
