Mannerheim
Government
The city falls under the rule of the Baron of Mannerheim; Aerwyen Galandol-Marivald. Previously, the area had been owned by the Kleinmorpf family for over 200 years. However, due to financial difficulties, the family sold the Mannerheim estate along with the barony in 1755 AC, to Aerwyen. Aerwyen does not rule or collect taxes as a normal Baron would, and instead leaves the city to run itself under the leadership of a council three elected by the inhabitants of the city.
Infrastructure
Mannerheim is a important in-between stop for river travel along the Bonfrau between the Ocean Port of Einsmort and Gunswald. Since its an island within the Bonfrau, the city boast two large bridges, the Kleindorf and Regislands in and out of the town. The central defining feature is the Dawnhall of Lathander.
