Reshilaba

Reshilaba was a purification god heavily worshipped in the middle era of the The Alessian Empire . The main belief centered around Reshilaba returning to their world; and purifying all evil in white hot fire; leaving only good. The inheritors of this world would be living in a new heaven known as Reshterra.

History

In 112 BC the legionaires of Alessia finally fully subdued the tribes of the Iypseium in the modern-day Nordwatch Forest and surrounding Lake Riaholm. Reshilaba was a major deity of the tribes pantheon, and they conducted many intricate and grandeous rituals in tribute to Reshilaba. Overtime, this rituals attracted the officers and their families, and soon they found themselves participating. The newly conquered region was given to the powerful and influential Antonines family to rule. Many of the Antonines, along with their military officers, began worshipping Reshilaba in the decades that followed; attracted for the same reasons the other Alessian had. From this, the allure of the worship spread throughout the Empire. Since the Antonines were so influencial back in the capital; many of the other prominent familes began following and participating in the new rituals brought to the city. By the 100s AC; the Reshilaba became one of the more broadly worshipped deities in Alessia.
However, the worship in Reshilaba declined during the crumbling of the Empire from 840AC - 950AC. The Void Plague ravaged urban area's scattering people into the wilderness; leaving the Temples empty. The coming of the Raiders from Reinhart seemed to end the worship. Many of the surviving Alessian's either died in combat or tossed aside their previous cultural heritage to join the Raiders. In the following years; the waves of colonists from Reinhart brought their own pantheon and deities; effectively erasing Reshilaba.
