The Ele-Ice is a large wardrobe shaped piece of furniture with a neatly insulated interior. The Icebox functions by a series of vents that open on the inside when the access doors are closed. These open vents allow the bound Ice elemental’s “breath” to reach the different foods, prolonging their shelf life. Invented by Kyler Messo, a gnome from the Duchy of Tressard, in an attempt to win favor with Countess Julietta Cherayth as a way to extend the shelf life of her favorite Plum and Rhubarb piesNo (year: 1874).[/color]
Where are they found?
Since its invention less than a decade ago, the Ele-Ice has been in demand by the other nobles of Eisen. Only a few exist, however, as capturing ice elementals is difficult at best. Thus far, only a few exist in the nation, mostly claimed by the dukes and the ruling parliamentary council.
