Magical Shops
Though Eletech has certainly affected the magical market by sometimes providing a cheaper alternative, magical items are still a more reliable option. In smaller cities there is generally at least one shop that offers a wide variety of common and uncommon magical items that are easy to produce. Large cities, like Novandria, generally have several magical shops which tend to be more specialized, and have rare items for sale. Some common specialty shops include potions, magical weapons, and household magics.
Though individual shops may offer specials or discounts on specific items, the price of magical items have become fairly set. By common agreement, most shops sell similar magical items at set prices, which has made magical items more available throughout the world. Most governments, however, have an office that monitors the prices to ensure that price fixing isn’t done at the detriment of the public.
Magical shops tend to be found in the noble quarter or the better parts of the middle class neighborhood. It is rare to find a magical shop in any of the poorer sections.
Two of the most well known shops in Novandria are Nos Vendere Magicae, located on the campus of the The Academy of Adventuring Arts, and The Equinox, which is located on the campus of Academia Casus.
