Silk
A traveling changeling bard, known for traveling across the continent and performing classic plays for audiences who would otherwise not usually have a chance to see them. What is noteworthy is that Silk plays all the roles, using their shapeshifting ability to great aplomb. A skilled and gifted performer, they seem to know all of the great classics by heart, and can perform them at the drop of a hat.
There are a number of rumors surrounding Silk, so-called because they always wear dark silk outfits with a glorious, multi-hued silk cape. Namely, because Silk has been performing for over 50 years, and because they have been rumored to have been in more than one city at the same time, many people believe there are several people traveling the continent as ‘Silk.’ However, Silk always insists they are singular, and urges people to ‘accept no imitations.’ Every time people have tried to catch Silk in a lie, perhaps by quizzing them on some obscure past acquaintance, or something similar, they have failed, so there appears to be one one of them…still, the rumors persist.
