Namae No Nai arrived at the Kingdom of Saluthen as the sun passed it's peak and were greeted by King Naiche and his entourage. After a brief but tense standoff the group was allowed to stay and told they would discuss plans the next day. Namae No Nai then sook shelter against the central structure of the Strix's "kingdom" and spent an uneasy night waiting.   Strix came and went in groups ranging between 2 and 20, mostly being out during the night, and it was not until the King returned the next morning that they were granted a real audience. Several strategies for how to take the Kingdom of Thulasan were proposed and denied until Varrum mentioned a feeling he'd been having since they arrived in the city. He had suspected the presence of a Waygate, and after spending the previous night searching the settlement had become convinced that it lay within the central pavillion. On the theory that if one was here there would likely be another within Thulasan, a scheme was hatched to take the army of Saluthen through The Ways to launch a surprise invasion directly into the enemy city.
