Ghaunadaur is the drow god of abominations. However, Ghaunadaur has been dead for a long time, though the exact date is argued upon. It is said he was slain by Lolth for seeking to break away from her dark pantheon. It is said he would travel deeper into the Underdark then anyone dared, and his his dying painful breath as Lolth tore him to shreds he would curse his hated mistresses name, saying that "A hell you cant even comprehend will be unleashed on your pathetic little world, and you will only be able to watch as your realm, and your people are scattered into dust." Sadly, it seems he was entirely correct in recent years. While he has long been dead, a very few less then sane individuals still pray to him, hoping their prayers will bring back this god. It is said he was responsible for making many of the more nightmarish creatures that are thought to still inhabit the Underdark, for he hated his mistress so much he went mad with hate, and so created monsters to torment and rampage against the drow.
