Selvetarm is a drow god that is mostly forgotten by many, this is due to his faith being essentially apart of Lolth's church armed wing. He represents warriors and battle prowess, and only after the Underdark Cataclysm were his cultists allowed to worship openly, as before the Church of Lolth would kill those who worshipped him openly as heretics of Lolth. His cultist are some of the best warriors of the drow race, training daily nearly without end. The warriors of his cult who graduate from their training drills are known as Arachkai, and sell their skills as warrior mercenaries for drow nobles and sometimes surface dwellers. These warriors are drilled hard, and most looking to join their ranks die or are left crippled for life, but those that do are beings of pure terror and sheer, raw combat skill. After the Underdark Cataclyscm his power has grown stronger, for his mistress Lolth is one he had hated with every fiber of his being, and so with her imprisonment he has blossomed. His cult is growing slowly bigger, and his warriors are getting even more mercenary work then before.

It is said in past days, Selvetarm would gift his followers holy swords, filled with purest hate and blackest rage. These swords are kept as sacred relics within the main church that worships him, for many were lost during the Underdark Cataclysm
