Visctheria
Created and tended carefully by its ancient deities, Visctheria was once home to many different magical species. Massive beasts roamed the wilds, mortals explored and discovered with freedom and abandon, and the gods walked the lands. Wars passed and empires rose and fell on the great continent, until the War of the Gods shattered the one land into many.
As the mortals recuperated from the massive catastrophe, and cultures varied and divided, governments slowly formed in the wake of the destruction. Split between the warring nations since the Division of the World, countries kept a careful balance between magic and religion.
But when the Strutheo Star struck the world, everything changed. The line between magic and gods faded, and the survivors of the tragedy were forced up into the stratosphere of Visctheria. With the land below them destroyed, they created a new world of mechanics and metal.
The eventual invention of space travel opened not only the solar system, but the galaxy. With the discovery that they were not alone in this vast universe, an age of exploration and discovery began again. The Visctherian legacy, while mostly unrecorded, became the legacy that shaped the universe.
Moons
Visctheria is a world of magic, power, and knowledge. You would be wise to remember who fills your coinpurse when you want to get an attitude.
The Moons of Visctheria are made of a rocky center surrounded by layers of crystals filled with concentrated magic that push and pull at the energy of the world. These crystals were mined away in the early Orbital Age, leaving behind three magic husks, covered in abandoned mining colonies.
Morio
Morio is the moon of power, its blue crystals radiating a violet glow in the night sky.
Elmenor
The moon of benevolence, Elmenor, is bright red in the evening sunsets, a second sun across the horizon.
Kilyn
Kilyn is the moon of knowledge, shedding pure white light on the secrets of the night.
Geography
Visctheria began as one great landmass, then split into the northern continents and southern islands when the Shattering occurred. The countries formed during the Division of the World, and the three moons turn slowly around the planet, marking the days until the Strutheo Star would arrive.
Kingdoms & Countries
The first age of Visctheria held three kingdoms: Recia, Patania, and Mekalia. When the world split, the remaining survivors built countries out of chaos.

Species
Many different species populate Visctheria, including Sapient species. While the Sapients have overcrowded the planet and moved up into the Orbital Rings, their conservation efforts have saved the natural wildlife from extinction.
Dominant Sapients
There are twenty-four sapient species that call Visctheria home, a thriving planet that is full of biodiversity. While many Visctherians hold no ill will towards any particular species, there are some who cling to the ancient unspoken borders between them.
Flora
The plant life of Visctheria was almost lost in the Impact of the Strutheo Star, and only careful efforts by many members of the Interworld Arcanist Society brought plant life onto the Orbital Rings.
Fauna
The fauna of Visctheria also faced extinction multiple times, but were preserved by the IAS when the Sapients migrated to the Rings.
Magic & Religion
The Magic of Visctheria lives and breathes like the world does, moving in tandem with the entropy of the universe. It moves through the world, summoned by the language of the Gods to do the will of the speaker. The one who speaks the words can command the Magic to do whatever they will, as long as they have the words to shape the actions.
Prismatics
Prismatics are a certain type of crystal mined in various locations around Visctheria, and eventually from the surface of the Moons themselves. The three different formations of Prismatic all produce intense magical energy of different types, allowing the user to accomplish great things with their power.
Deities
And Athos gave the first Spark of life to the lumps of clay, so carefully crafted by the hands of His earthen Brother. And the light became life, spark became flame, clay became flesh, leaving a molten scar on the souls of the mortal.
The Visctherian Pantheon, born of Udis, brought life and light to the world, as well as death and darkness.
