Chuul

Chuuls are monstrous, aquatic aberrations known for their nightmarish appearance. Resembling a grotesque blend of crustacean and arachnid features, chuuls are nightmarish creatures designed for survival in underwater environments. Their most prominent features include large, pincer-like claws, multiple spindly legs, and a segmented carapace that covers their torso.
Chuuls possess a pair of formidable, oversized pincers, which they use for both hunting and defense. Their bodies are covered in a tough, chitinous exoskeleton that offers protection against physical harm and helps them endure the rigors of their aquatic habitats. Their eyes are multifaceted, resembling those of insects, and they have a gaping, lamprey-like maw filled with sharp teeth.
These creatures vary in color, often sporting shades of mottled green or brown, which allows them to blend in with underwater vegetation and debris.
