The only way to get to the Foundation Pillar - Me'at'Isten is through the bay, as the waters are too dangerous around it to make the journey from land and then by boat. Many ships fall into the hole, some say they can return back as the magic of the waters can be seen sometimes flowing backward, up the waterfalls.
