Derro

Derro are often mistaken for Duergar , as they were once part of the same dwarven lineage. However, Derro have undergone a transformation that sets them apart. They are smaller and more emaciated compared to their Duergar cousins. What truly distinguishes Derro is their intense experimentation with latent psionic abilities, which has taken a heavy toll on their sanity.

Derro communities are scarce, and they are characterized by rampant madness. In some cases, more powerful races from the depths of Undertethys might incorporate Derro into their ranks, but they are typically treated no better than slaves, subjected to harsh and oppressive conditions.
