Ironwood

Ironwood Trees are a rarity to behold. They do not reproduce, have offspring, or any kind of leaves and looking like metallic trees. Ironwood Trees are made by watering a tree with water from Magistorm that has its roots deep in an iron vein. Over the next decades, the tree will shed its wooden form to reveal ironwood that starts to grow. Ironwood Trees tend to grow twice, sometimes thrice bigger than their original types. Allowing such races as the Elves to create outposts out of them. Ironwood also can be used to fashion shields and some weapons.

Properties

Weapons made from Ironwood must be weapons that were made primarily from wood in the first place like spears or staves. Ironwood weapons tend to be a half of their base weight while costing twice the base price.
There are no armors that can be made from Ironwood, except for Breastplates. Ironwood shields and breastplates tend to have the same qualities as their steel counterparts, while costing twice the base price.
