Every living or undead creature coming to the swamp will feel their energies sapped. The swamps are capable of decomposing everything, some might say even indestructable artifacts of legend. The plane is infested with creatures that love to spread diseases and poisons. Planar travelers beliede that the swamps are the origins of the many diseases and poisons that exist in the planes and the Material Plane, even those that come "naturally", existed in the swamps before they appeared in mortal bodies.
