Wild Gold Rush

These lands were once known as Phlegathar or at least part of it. Many Tieflings never wanted to live in this region, stories told enough about their suffering here. However, after the Fourth Age, The Calamity, when explorers finally came (interested in something more than food), they found gold in many parts of this contested land. Many nations of Arakhor came rushing here, sending their expeditions to claim rivers and lands for them and some adventurers for themselves. In midst of all of this, there are rumors about the devil's work, that this a ploy by some Archdevil to make mortals return to the region so he can rule again.
