Lythas the Messenger
Lythas is one of the oldest Gods in the modern pantheon, but knowledge of his existence has long been forgotten.
He values the tradition of story-telling within the land, and the passing of stories to remember deeds, the histories of the people of Teutonia and their Gods. Wheresoever there is a gathering of people, stories should be shared.
Over 900 years ago, at the culmination of the Holy War. The holy war was faught between the churches of Syth/Sythis (depending whom you ask) Bane and Mortis. Lythas took pity on the mortals that were being used to wage war between his siblings and began manipulating the champions of each god, posing as his sibilings in an effort to end the fighting. The tricked champions were ultimately killed by their churches.
When the other gods discovered their champions betrayal they soon discovered the tricks of Lythas. As punishment Lythas was torn apart pieces by pieces, domain by domain. Even his followers were exterminated and all traces of his worship destroyed.
However in his efforts to end the war, Lythas has secretly gained the domain of trickery, and this domain would live on, housing what was left of Lythas within the newly born god known as Gul.

In 1116, his story was restored to Teutonia when he broke free of Gul's restrictions. After Gul consumed the Khoreg and the Blood God in an effort to become the God of Conflict it ultimately destabilised Gul. Eventually Syth intervened and allowed Gul and Lythas to exist as separate entities.
