Mons

The city of Mons sits atop the cliffs of the River Elbe, protecting the crossings over the rocky, waterfall and rapid filled waters. Mons has enjoyed a quirt history, avoiding many of the wars that have ravage the nation throughout Teutonia's long history but that should in no way lead you to believe that Mons is weak. Defending the boarder between the Rhinelands and the South west falls upon this city, and it takes it very seriously. At the same time Mons enjoys the money that comes through the river crossings in the form of money taxation.
In recent years Mons has become the main supplier of timber in the west, as extracting wood from the Black Forest became more and more hazardous.
