Teutonian Civil Service
The Civil Service is a world-renowned, vast institution who administer the laws and provide investigative forces and specialised personnel to the whole of Teutonia. Even small villages usually have a civil Service Office, which may sometimes be just be a desk in the corner of a local store.
The Civil Service is a vital cog in the running of an educated society, providing civil order and a working economy. The Teutonian Civil Service Officers (TCSOs) perform many different jobs depending on their specialisation from catching criminals to delivering post.

Structure
The head of the Civil Service is the Praetor, who also sits on the High Council, and is responsible for the running of its departments.
Below them is the Quaestor who has been the Praetor's second from the institutions inception.
Below these two leaders are the five departments;
the Der Jura is responsible for law interpretation;
The Watch is responsible for law enforcement and dealing with criminals;
The Sekretariat;
Der Burokratismus is responsible for tax collection and finance;
the Archives a collection of knowledge and lore.
