The Children of Kubeth
Deep in the heart of the Prohogue, the troll forest of the Badlands there has always been a small community of wild elves. These elves have always been secretive and kept away from political affairs, hunting and surviving from the fierce cannibalistic trolls that the forest gains its name from.
Living alongside the wild elves are a tribe of feral beast kin, said to be descended from Kubeth himself. Over the years the two groups have become one with the beastkin the emotional heart of the community focused on the immediacy whilst the elves take a more practical long term view.
Those who come into their territory will find distressing totems of bone and flesh hanging of trees, a sign of warming for any travellers who may accidentally find their way into their hunting grounds.
With the change in the world at the Renewal of Magic 1223, members of the small community were tasked with hunting Kubeth and reminding him of his purpose. This led them to meet with the Teutonian warhost where they were reluctantly welcomed and a decision was made by the community to aid them in their aims.
Uncomfortable in the modern civilisation of Teutonia, the children of Kubeth hold on to a time before the cities were built and survival was won.
