The Hidden One

The Hidden One watches the rift to the Void. Such is the importance of her task, it was agreed amongst all the Gods that they would share their power with her, so that she need not be distracted by worshippers of her own. In some of the other faiths she is the brother of Bane and daughter of Khoreg, others she is the sister of Khoreg and daughter of Bane; and in others she is neither.
She is the sentinel of the Gods, ever watchful, hidden in the shadows. Her appearance amongst the other Gods is extremely rare, however her influence on the mortals of Teutonia is often attributed to someone being in the right place at the right time, or spotting a tiny detail that can change a dire situation.

The Hidden One never speaks directly with Teutonians but she will sometimes send an omen or vision warning of great dangers or threats to the land or Gods. It is important to never turn her attention away from the Void, to that end her name is forbidden from being said, and is known to a select few; Kavia.

Holy Books & Codes

The Hidden One cares nothing for worship; prayers to her are ignored. Her attention must not be drawn from her duty to watch the Void.
Her followers tend to be steadfast and dutiful. They often claim to follow other Gods. Being a follower of the Hidden One isn’t a secret but many of her number only tell their closest companions. Each of them knows that when her call comes, they will answer immediately and without hesitation, for they are the first wall of defence against creatures too terrible to name.

Many of her faithful followers are concealed within other churches, often those of Bane or Khoreg, but how they join is not known. If indeed there is a formal clergy, absolutely nothing is known about them.

It is said that a great temple to her exists at the highest point of the highest mountain, where the insightful can develop the ability to see across any distance, any time and into any plane. Many have sought it, but none have ever returned.

Those whose duty it is to keep watch, her followers and her faithful, will never invoke her name, as calling her will distract her from her duties. Even to those not of her faith, saying her name aloud is considered to be bad luck.
