In the world of Thade we will be basing our journey on the continent of Drox: The continent of Drox is prominently divided into five territories Athen, Thoem, Grobe, Posmia, and Ustrad. Athen holds four provinces. Thoem is home to three provinces. Grobe has four provinces. Posmia owns two. Lastly Ustrad also owns two. The races present will predominantly be those of the core and some of the featured races: The main races include the following- Human, Halfling, Orc, Half Orc, Elf, Half Elf, and Dwarf. The relationship between some of these races are rocky at best but most keep to their own territories. The magic system will also be further explored within this expect: Any magical effect cannot be produced without the use of Hedril. Hedril is as common as copper but not recyclable. The existence of Hedril is known by most of the races to be from only the oldest of gods (This will be explained in more detail within the Deities section). Most races have specific traditions/methods of casting any magical effect using Hedril. This black volcanic looking rock is inherently capable of consuming nearby magics. Most would need to purify Hedril in order to cast with it storing them in Oaklo bags that repel magical effects as to not taint them. Some of the methods of casting include the following skill casting, magical sign, addictive casting, draining casting, extended casting, and sickening magic. These six methods are the most common amongst the seven races. Lastly deities and how they fit into this society: Although many races may butt heads on how to govern many of the races do share a mutual understanding that Gods do in fact exist and walk amongst them. Though they may not share the same name between each society they also understand that each of their gods are still mortal. Most common religious views known throughout Drox. A Sole- All the gods that are present today are but fractions of one old god. It is believed that this one god grew lonely and tiresome creating another god from himself. However the two gods views began to clash in time the two waging wars against one another breaking fractions of their roles as gods into small roles fulfilled by many rather then one. Those that practice A Sole pray to Yen their holy text reads that one day the fractions of yen will come together to create Yen once more. On that day Yen will decide the fate of Thade. Communion of Eythy- The Communion believe that the gods lively hood is in danger like the animals of the wild of nature is not put in check they may become extinct. The members of The Communion actively train day in day out believing that one day they will be approached by a god and then be sent out on their pilgrimage. The approach of a god said to be a sign that you are ready to defend the lively hood of the gods throughout Thade. Church of the Spirit- It is said that the gods mortality act as a blessing to pass their gifts from one mortals hands to another. Feeling that fate will decide whether or not you will be gifted with the blessing of the gods. Children of the Prophet- Though the gods may bleed they are to be served day in and day out. Their every request must be followed as closely as the law of their own society. Though the word of the prophet is the final say the prophet will determine your fate. Sect of the Sinless- No matter your actions the gods can and will bless you and dissolve you of your sins. If one god denies to dissolve your sins you must travel to another god to be blessed by another. This acting as your trial and punishment of your sins. Oracles of Sacrifice- The death of the gods
