The Silverblades
The Silverblades is the most exclusive and enegmatic adventuring guild in Oratin, one of the very few guilds that doesn't take application and instead uses an invitation-only type of recruitment system. This means that their numbers are much smaller compared to the other guilds, but the members are all established in other fields and can all hold their own.
The silverblades almost only take on the more dangerous and expensive jobs with high rewards, leaving the easier quest to the other guilds. They also treat newcommers with a careful eye and makes them go through rigorous vetting and a long period of a senior mentorship type of situation. Their emblem is a silver sword that's encrusted with saphires, and held in the talons of a falcon. The love the silver hue of things, and all members carry a silver pendant with their emblem on it at all times. Their headquarters is the The Silverblade's Den, a guildhall which not a lot of people have set their foot inside as it's locked for people from outside the guild. The leader of the silverblades is Aerandir Perentith, the rather mysterious figure at the top.
