The Syrinth

The Syrinth, once known as Syrinith in the draconic language, has a rich and storied history dating back to the second era of the world. During that time, a great empire ruled over much of the land, and they used enslaved labor to construct a network of roads and infrastructure to connect their far-flung territories.
The construction of the Syrinith was a monumental undertaking. Slaves from various conquered lands were forced into labor, working tirelessly under the supervision of their captors. They toiled for decades, cutting through dense forests, spanning rivers with stone bridges, and carving paths through steep mountains. The road was meticulously designed to be straight and wide, allowing for efficient travel and communication across the empire.
As time passed, the empire's power waned, and the slaves who had built the road gained their freedom. The draconic name Syrinith began to evolve as the local cultures and languages took root. It gradually transformed into Syrinth, as the history of the draconic-speaking empire faded into obscurity.
