Welcome to Tharsadra, a world rebuilding from a chain of multiple wars and apocalyptic events, from the death of the Maker, to the violent outrage of the archdracon Valla and her sundering of the balance between Law and Chaos, but none so egregiously horrific as the Desolations that extinguished countless lives in an instant, leaving nothing but a scarred landscape where even the weave of magic itself is torn asunder.
Though the land is one of tenuous hope, some individuals have sought to bend the world to their own whims, and upset the very fine balance of the world. From the feared Lord of Crimson to the mighty Wardens under the command of the Warlord Ulixes, certain truly powerful beings reshape the fate of thousands by their very presence, and their conflicts have brought entire kingdoms to their knees.
