Sand Elves

Not all the elves were able to flee Easlath during the Nightmare war. A population of elves living in what is now Gondobar could not escape. They were cut off to the south by the Goredhel navy, and could not get through the passes to make it to Seladine pass during the evacuation. Instead they hid in the Erumon Desert. There they survived. When the Elves returned after the end of the Nightmare Wars, the survivors had adapted to their harsh environment, becoming the sand elves.
The sand elves harbor some resentment against the elves that escaped Easlath. That resentment still lingers today. For the most part, sand elves are not found north of the Quinodrim. The do trade with other nations in their main settlement, Gondobar.

Ability Score Increase:

Your Constitution increases by 1.

Guardian Nomad:

You are proficient with Pike, scimitar, spear, and short bow.

Resourceful Survivor:

You are proficient in the survival skill.

Desert Born:

You are naturally adapted to hot climates as described in chapter 5 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide.

Mirage:

You can cast the blur spell, using your Wisdom as your spell casting ability. Once you have cast it, you cannot cast it again until you have taken a long rest.
