Unoz'Thar

The Dark One, the Endless Night

Perhaps one of the most well known Nightmare Gods, Unoz'Thar represents the fear of the dark. He appears as a formless black mass. The bulk of his followers are the Dark Dwarves, who encountered him in their deep underground caverns and chose to side with the Darkness over the allies. Those that follow Unoz'Thar that are not Dark Dwarves tend to favor black clothing, and to be nocturnal. They often have some affinity with the Shadowfell, though Unoz'Thar himself does not.
Though they hate light, the dark dwarves were instrumental in the war as they worked as sappers under the great armies, even sometimes offering the armies passage through their vast array of tunnels.
