The 4th Epoch

An unknown millennia in the future, much of the previous Epoch's histories and technologies have been lost. The world is full of humans, but along with them artificial beings, extraterrestrials and reanimated corpses with unique conscientiousness, among countless other even stranger entities.   The world is full of mysteries of the past that shout out to some, but for most it is simply enough to survive. Many sovereignties exist, most no more advanced then simple feudal governmental bodies, being ruled by kings and queens of varying competencies and temperaments. The range of technologies is vast but in most places of the Epoch the people are more likely to be toiling with shovels and fighting with basic iron weapons than searching for answers with a fabled handheld scryscreen.
