Charlotte Gresnik is sometimes seen in the Redcobble Market within the city of Ravenmar, carrying a freshly killed deer or boar. Despite her thin stature, she has made a name for herself as a huntress and has become a supplier of Ravenmar's butchers, who eagerly await the game she regularly brings them. However, behind this facade of a simple hunter lies a a secretive life, as Charlotte is also a member of the Nightward Society.
When Charlotte was just a child, her family fell victim to a brutal werewolf attack, leaving her as the sole survivor. This harrowing experience not only left her orphaned but also instilled in her a profound determination to protect others from the horrors she had endured. This personal vendetta against creatures of the night eventually led her to be recruited into the the Nightward Society, where she found a purpose and a means to channel her grief and hatred, and learn the skills needed to turn those feelings into action without getting killed in the process.
Charlotte's role as a Moonblade within the Nightward Society is not known to many but it is a role that suits her skills and temperament perfectly. Despite her solitary nature and the heavy burden of her past, Her personal loss has not turned her heart to stone but instead, it has given her a profound empathy for those threatened by the creatures of the night. In the quiet moments, when the city sleeps, Charlotte is a watchful eye, a blade in the darkness, ensuring that what happened to her and her family will not happen to others.
