After you make a Sleight of Hand check, you can choose to activate the magic of the charm. You have to do so before it is announced whether the check was successful or not. When you do, you can reroll the the Sleight of Hand check. You must use the new result, even if it is a 1. This charm has 1d4 uses, after the paper charm has been activated for its final use, it destroys itself in a small, harmless burst of black sparks that is only visible to you.
