- Milil is the writer of the first song and creator of Music. He holds sole domain over music and few can argue otherwise. His voice is said to be as high, soft, and beautiful as a song bird but as loud, deep, and mournful as the song of a whale. It can bring the greatest warrior to their knees in sadness, or the most dour person to joy and laughter. He is song, and music itself.

- When Milil visited Eovillia for the first time he brought with him the first song. This awakened the beings of the land to higher thought and emotions. This brought joy, happiness, and revelry. Without song there would be no joy and without joy there would be no song.

- A collection of songs that milil himself is believed to have written. Each of these songs is believed to be holy and clerics are taught to sing each with perfect pitch and rhythm. During congregation many songs are sung from this holy text.

- Though many may find a song bad, or a beat lacking it may still bring happiness to others. Allow not a song to go unfinished or an instrument untuned. Despite the lack of skill or ability the performer may have, the happiness they can bring is greater than the annoyance you may feel.
Music is the most precious thing a being can create
- A song can lift the mood of a room, bring happiness to the sad, and create meaning where others find none. Of all the arts Music remains supreme, encourage teach others so that they may put their experiences and feelings into the universal language of the Realms.

- Never allow yourself to become complacent with your musical knowledge. When you have mastered one instrument pick up another, when you have finally perfect a technique learn another. - Song’s Crest is the day assigned to signify when Milil gifted Eovillia and all of reality the first song. With the creation of music the followers of Milil believe that the Rhythm of Life began, and gave us emotions and joy. This day is spent singing songs from the Hymnal of The Rhythm, and holding a grand feast. The night is spent sending prayers and songs to milil so that he may one day return and use his songs to reawaken the world from the silence of the after effects of the collapse.

- For the Followers of Milil life after the collapse is one of endless night and silence. Though the sun may shine, the rhythm of life has gone silent and the beat of the earth has faded and died. Each year on this day they spend it in complete silence and prayer hoping and longing for the coming of Milil and reawaken Eovillia and restart the Rhythm of Life.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
While other gods may hold lofty ideals and goals for Milil his never ending task is to spread music and the love of it to the corners of the realm. The Rhythm of Life shall march ever on and once the people of Eovillia learn to sing with each other in harmony the great Crescendo of the Rhythm shall be heard.
