Fein stumbled onto the ARA in their long quest to find a stable job. They have done many jobs in order to survive. The two points in their life that concern this lore post are their time as a magical plant salesperson and their job as a hired thief. In their career as a magical plant salesperson, they met someone who was very important to them. As a criminal, they became connected to the art of thieving. Fein's main goal is to survive in this world as a changeling, something that has been hard for it in the past. They have recently been given a cursed bracelet that erases part of their identity. It only allow them to perform as either Sol or Shay. This enables the racial traits of Eladrin and Shadar-Kai to be used. This curse manifested as a bracelet made of vines. They want to keep it a secret to everybody outside of the ARA as it could put them in danger. They feel weird that everybody knows they are a changeling.

Fein's Personalities

While the personalities are extensions of Fein, they should be treated as their own individuals as much as possible because they move differently through the world.

Sol

Sol is an eladrin who is able to change seasons based on her emotions. She wants to protect the party from danger with a more in-your-face approach. When she is happy/excited, her spring form is enabled. This bubbly bitch gets so happy to see people and plants. When she is sad, she switches into winter form. This form differs from Shay because her instinct is not to retreat. When she wants to soothe others, she will change to her autumn form. Finally, the summer form comes out when she is annoyed/angered by something. You all have seen this form the most because I think it's the most fun to play. Sol will tend to use sorcerer moves more because they are more in her wheelhouse. She doesn't like sneaking around that much.

As an Eladrin, Sol's mood dictates the color of her features. At her most cheerful, her spring form will appear as a green tint on her body. When she is annoyed/angry/impatient, summer-themed red tones come forth. Her sadness-driven winter form adds blue pigment into the mix. Finally, content and comfort-seeking autumn brings warm browns as well as oranges. Sol's electric energy guides her towards the use of elemental and protective magic.

How she feels about the party
Sol is a fan of most of her co-workers, even if they haven't gotten a chance to interact! A special shout out to Sage, who comforted her when her identity was exposed to the party at Arthur's house. She loves loves loves Sylvester.

Shay

Shay likes going undetected, so he uses the rogue skills. This mostly happens in the form of him hiding in dark places, but sometimes this means going along with what the group is doing to not stand outside of the crowd. He does not like using magic skills because of the way they feel on his hands but he will do most things to get the job done and get paid. His thieving skills serve him well. His marksmanship could stand to be improved!

Shay stands in contrast to Sol, seeing himself as a quiet extension of the party. He will tend to sneak around and utilize his weapons. After spending some time pretending to not have magic, he realizes that there are some situations where it will be necessary for him to depart from his old habits.

Likes: dim to no light in rooms, collecting handcrafted items
Dislikes: bright areas, being singled out

How he feels about the party
Shay has a begrudging respect for all of his co-workers. This subtle feeling of warmth is stronger with party members who are thieves. He thinks Sylvester and Thirteen are liabilities because they are very visible.

A being who has experienced many lives. They live simultaneously as two people who are of their fabrication but are distinct. A quiet thief, a loud sorcerer, only they know what's beneath the masks.
