Bubbling Bovines and Their Mighty Milk
On the Eastern side of the Gorge, in the Far East of the Aerth are a breed of bovine of which the earliest mention dates further back than many human settlements. There have been no mention of them in the Twikkan archives. No mention before humans came to the Aerth. There is a suspicion that the Bubbling Bovine was a byproduct of the early Gobbet experiments. Tho the Magna's do not mention that experiment in their records.
However it came to the Aerth, these cows have a very specific use. Very rare. These cows produce slightly fizzy alcoholic milk.

Conservation Status
One does not kill a Bubbling Bovine. One does not eat its meat. If it nears death it will, of its own accord, lumber off into some far, unknown area, usually a high meadow or a deep cavern, and breath its last there. It has not been observed what happens to the carnivore that discover this beefy feast. Many assume those creatures go insane, binge on the meat and explode their insides. Beaks and shattered wolf pelts have been found around the bovine carcas, when it is finally found.
Nobody kills a Bubbling Bovine because of these stories. Who knows how those wolves died. Did they kill the Bovine and the Bovine killed them in return? Would that happen to anyone who killed one? No one knows and, frankly, no one is curious enough to risk life and limb to find out for sure.
