As the Banner, So the Guard.

"As the Banner, so the Guard. This is the way of the Guardsman and his every breath should reflect this.   Just as the Banner flies wherever the wind points, the Guard will fly wherever Justice points. Just as the Banner gives knowledge to the populace about who is settling the area, so the Guard gives knowledge to the populace who's rule they keep. Just as the Banner will rise to its purpose whenever the wind arises, so the Guard will rise to their purpose whenever need arises.   As the Banner, So the Guard."   ~ Excerpt from The Guard's Heart, 246AH, Author unknown
