The Aetherstream

The Aetherstream is the energy flowing through the Aether. When energy is "expended" it is released into the Aetherstream. When it is "produced", it is being syphoned from it. Energy is never created nor destroyed; it merely takes the form that presents it the least resistance.

The Forms of Energy

Energy comes in five basic forms: aethereal, electrical, material, mechanical, and radiant.

• Aethereal Energy - the energy stored within the Aether; the most readily available source of energy.
• Electrical Energy - the energy resulting from the movement of charged particles through a medium.
• Material Energy - the energy stored in matter.
• Mechanical Energy - the energy possessed by an object due to its motion or position.
• Radiant Energy - the energy transmitted in waves (heat, light, etc.).
