Soldin

Soldin has the distinct disadvantage of only having two schools of magic under its wing. Historically, this was counter-balanced by the fact that Transmutation was by far the largest, but this tendency has waned over the years. Still, Soldin is vital to maintaining infrastructure via terraforming as well as giving an insurance policy to wizards who unexpectedly end up napping in the dirt. Lacking a vision for the guild, Soldin often takes a passive stance politically, letting their two votes be bought out by the highest bidder. The Duchalis family, which has always been in control of the School of Transmutation and to some extent Soldin itself, preferred to pursue matters of familial importance over guild proceedings. Members of Soldin are often known to follow this path treating the guild as a tool rather than a cause to be furthered. With the recent death of Valente Duchalis, the future of the guild is shaky as Wizards vie for control in hopes they may win the right to forge their legacy into Soldin.
