Xyrial

Xyrial was an anonymous, likely Elven, writer and scholar who wrote a series of open letters to the Mage Guilds from 1328-1329 P.V. Their letters focused on egalitarian issues and rights of the Arcane. They gathered a large following in a short time, especially in eastern Felclorian, despite the censorship of such letters.
